Peter passed away on February 26, 2014 at age 78. Before attending Pepperdine, he served 23 years in the U.S. military. After earning his MBA from the Graziadio School, he served as director of operations and president of a nationwide trucking company, and was the owner of a janitorial services company.
Peter was born in Berlin in 1935. The son of Jewish parents, he and his family left Nazi Germany in 1939, first for Ecuador and then for the United States. He is survived by his second wife, Cathie, four sons and four grandchildren.
