Angela recently launched her own practice, Copeland Coaching, based in Memphis, after nine years of informally providing career-coaching services. Copeland Coaching provides assistance at all stages of the job-search process; including networking, interviewing and negotiation, and is available for those seeking a career change at all levels.

Angela started coaching while still pursuing an MBA at Pepperdine University. Her professors noticed that she looked for jobs differently than the other students. They referred students and professionals as well as invited her to present on job-seeking skills. “I’ve continued to coach informally since then, and recently I felt called to turn it into a business,” she says.

Angela recently became the official career coach for the Volunteer Odyssey program, which offers participants exposure to new employment opportunities via a seven-day volunteering and blogging tour of the Memphis nonprofit scene.
