Susanna Kass, MBA ’88

Susanna has been named the first entrepreneur-in-residence at New Mexico State University’s Arrowhead Center, a portal that brings together researchers and entrepreneurs to solve market problems through business creation. She will be advising the commercialization project teams at the center and collaborating with faculty members to drive innovation.

Susanna previously served as chief operations officer at OSIsoft, LLC, provider of the PI System and the leader in real-time data infrastructure solutions for management of real-time data and events.

Susanna, who helped eBay successfully launch into the global market as its COO of international operations, is a seasoned corporate and strategic planning executive.

Susanna was also COO of Trilliant Networks, Inc., where she managed sales, services and supply chain management, as well as led numerous smart grid customer sales and service deployments with utilities in global markets. She previously held senior corporate strategy, general management, global product, service and new business development management roles at Sun Microsystems and Hewlett-Packard Company.

Susanna holds a Graduate School of Business Degree for Executives from Stanford University. She was selected as a distinguished alumnus, and holds an MBA from Pepperdine University, a bachelor of science in computer science and a bachelor of science in business administration marketing from San Diego State University.  She is active as an advisor to TPG Growth, an alumni sponsor at Stanford University, and a board advisor at Pepperdine University for green energy research and the Entrepreneur Management program.
