Erik entered his startup PAX Designs into the Intuit Small Business Big Game Contest.
Known for its Quicken and Turbo Tax personal finance software, Intuit will highlight one small business in a 30-second TV spot during the third quarter of the 2014 Super Bowl, which is scheduled for Feb. 2.
Erik has taken up Intuit’s offer to interested small businesses to tell their story in 600 words or less on its website. For an entrepreneur such as Erik that translates into national air time worth about $3.7 million to advertisers. During the week of Sept. 23, the businesses with the most votes from the public will advance to the next round. On Oct. 28, Intuit’s 8,000 employees will narrow down the competition from 20 to a final four, which will be announced on Nov. 11. On Dec. 1, a winner will be chosen.
Erik launched started PAX Designs, LLC in 2012 and in short time introduced its first product, University Nail Pax, a line of officially licensed nail wraps at www.shopunp.com. He offers a line of custom designed nail foils for collegiate fans to sport their school pride. Erik has licensed with 34 schools around the United States and he is continuously looking to add new institutions.
Support PAX Designs’ bid for Super Bowl stardom and vote once per day. “Every vote counts. It is a great opportunity for PAX Designs and I hope you are able to help us out by voting and voting often,” says Erik.
“Just imagine, with your help, we might be able to see my face on TV during the Super Bowl!!”
