Meisha Sherman, MBA ’05

meisha.sherman.goldenMeisha received a Golden Torch Award, a special honor from full-time students, the administration and the Office of Alumni Relations in recognition of her support and mentorship of second-year MBA students toward achieving their career aspirations.

Meisha serves as human resources leader at Hewlett-Packard. She joined HP in August 2011 and leads the accelerated development strategies, efforts, and initiatives for leaders and executives for Global Talent Management and Succession of the Hewlett-Packard Company. With over 15 years experience in human resources, she leads talent management strategies and processes, top talent pools, learning and development efforts, employee engagement initiatives, succession planning, and talent review and scorecard metric design and reporting.

Meisha is also an active leader in the community. She is a civic leader with the 48th District Constituent Services Center in partnership with the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office, serving at-risk youth in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). Additionally, Sherman is an Advisory Board Member of the Los Angeles Chapter of the California Diversity Council (CADC), is an officer of the National Association of Women MBAs (NAWMBA), serves on the Pepperdine University Graziadio Alumni Board, and serves on the Board of Directors with the American Red Cross Santa Monica Chapter.
