A. Ronald Berryman, MBA ’67

Ron BerrymanRon was recently the subject of a Los Angeles Sentinel feature article that touted the Graziadio School alum as a “model of possibilities.”

“In the spirit of Black History month, we take time to salute A. Ronald Berryman whose zeal for education makes history with each student who is assured a brighter future one scholarship at a time,” wrote the Los Angeles Sentinel.

As an experienced entrepreneur and advisory leader, Ron was the original leader of Pepperdine’s Black Alumni Council, and takes pride in being the first African American to graduate from Pepperdine’s inaugural MBA program in 1967.

According to the article, “Berryman attributes his success to his Pepperdine education.  ‘Pepperdine prepared me to excel in the private sector,’ said Berryman.” Read the rest of the article at the Los Angeles Sentinel.
