Nitasha has been named to the board of The Orange County Chapter of the American Marketing Association (OC AMA), where she serves as vice president of collegiate relations.
OC AMA is part of a national organization dedicated to the advancement of marketing professionals from a broad range of industries who seek the knowledge to make themselves more effective marketers. In her role as collegiate relations VP, Nitasha is dedicated to building solid relationships and partnering with the Orange County Collegiate AMA chapters, as well as the surrounding universities and colleges. Her goal is to build a cohesive Orange County marketing community that allows both marketing students and professionals the opportunity to build influential networks, exchange ideas, and support each other’s marketing initiatives and careers.
Nitasha currently serves as a marketing manager at Harris Tea and very actively involved in the community. After graduating with her MBA with an emphasis in Marketing from Pepperdine, she joined the Graziadio Alumni Network – Orange County as director of marketing. While at Graziadio, she was very actively involved as the co-president of the Marketing Society, conference director of the National Association of Women MBAs (NAWMBA) and contributed to the class-notes of the Graziadio Marketing Ambassador program.
Prior to earning her Pepperdine MBA, Nitasha obtained a B.A. in International Studies and Minor in Management from the University of California, Irvine. She spent five years working for a high-tech manufacturing firm managing trade shows and worldwide marketing communication initiatives. Nitasha was born in Toronto, Canada, raised in Orange County and enjoys watching basketball, discovering new recipes and traveling.
