Andrew Mescon, MBA '12

Andrew recently joined the Media & Entertainment Finance Group at OneWest Bank. He brings to the job a background in financial statement analysis, credit analysis (corporate), financial modeling, managing teams, non-profit fundraising, business presentations, and project management. The regional bank is Southern California’s largest hometown bank with a strong capital foundation, conservative management and a consistent focus on providing value to customers.

While earning his MBA in the full-time program, Andrew interned with Mosaic Capital in its investment banking group and at Warner Bros. in the DC Entertainment Group, where he developed and analyzed financial models related to DC Entertainment’s comic book publishing, media, and merchandising divisions.

Andrew distinguished himself as an exemplar MBA student, serving this past year as president of the Malibu Graduate Business Society, the Graziadio School’s student government body. He was an active contributor to the Finance Club, Ethics Committee and Challenge For Charity and Graziadio Marketing Ambassador program. Andrew was a recipient of the George Eltinge Memorial Scholarship Award and Thomas E. Burnett Memorial Scholarship Award.
