John has been unanimously elected CEO of the Oak Valley Hospital District by the governing board of directors. He has served as the interim CEO since November 2011. Prior to that, he served as the hospital’s interim CFO.
“I’m excited to be working with such a great group of dedicated employees, doctors and volunteers and thankful to the board for this terrific opportunity,” said John.
Previously, John served as interim CFO for Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District. He has served as regional financial officer for Brim Healthcare, which included several California district hospitals; CFO in acute hospitals; and as a staff accountant for a Fortune 500 company.
The Oak Valley Hospital District encompasses California regions Oakdale, Waterford, Knights Ferry, Valley Home and part of Riverbank. It operates the nonprofit Oak Valley Hospital, three ambulance services, a long-term care facility and three rural health clinics.
John has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University, Fullerton, and a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management.
