Stephen Yeoh, MBA ’11

Stephen is now a board member at Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce, a member-driven, professionally staffed nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the region’s business community.

The Chamber has approximately 1,400 business and professional firms as members, making this chamber one of the largest in California. The strength of the Chamber lies in its membership—working together to make the communities of Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village and Agoura Hills a better place to live, work and raise a family.

Stephen current serves as a partner at LearnItByEar.com, an audio-based study system designed to improve learning and retention through the listening of short-track MP3 audio files to definitions and key concepts of popular courses for students with a busy, on-the-go lifestyle.

LearnItByEar.com was created by Stephen and a fellow entrepreneurial Pepperdine University graduate MBA student. A joint venture between consultant firms Brett Fisher Group, LLC and MIT Consulting Corporation together bring you a “next generation, audio learning experience.”  After hand writing hundreds of flashcards, it became clear that recording the definitions in a short-track audio format for our busy, on-the-go lifestyles would be more productive. LearnItByEar.com was formed and now we share our efforts with you, so you can benefit from learning on-the-go.

Stephen has worked in management sectors for other companies such as Praxair, IKON, Cognigen, and the University of Buffalo.

His undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Michigan, where he majored in Computer Science. He received a bachelor of science degree in 1987. Stephen is also a 2011 MBA graduate from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management.
