Rafael has been named the new director of business development, recruiting, for the Southern California area by SeaCrest Wealth Management (SWM), a provider of wealth management services to Registered Investment Advisors (RIA’s) throughout the United States. SWM offers a wide suite of services designed to enhance the productivity and professionalism of their RIA clients.
Rafael has a broad-range of previous experience, most recently at The Art Institute, California (Inland Empire) as a teacher in ethics and history. He also served as a business consultant and financial analyst for companies such as Morgan Stanley, and Merril Lynch, Crowell, Weedon & Co., and MAM Wealth LLC.
Rafael is the owner of the Hispanic Business Development Group, a private consulting company.
Notably, Rafael served as an advisor at Pepperdine University for two years.
Rafael received his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Southern California, holds a juris doctorate from Western State University, as well as a masters degree in financial planning from Kansas State University. He is also a graduate of the Wharton School of Business Executive Education program with a certificate in strategy and holds a certification in project management from Rutgers University. In addition, Rafael is a 2003 graduate of Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management’s Presidential and Key Executive MBA program.
