John Dila, MBA ‘08

John joins InnoCentive, Inc., the world leader in open innovation, as vice president, global Solver community and Solver products. InnoCentive’s global Solver network is comprised of more than 200,000 creative thinkers including scientists, researchers and entrepreneurs. John will drive the definition and growth strategy for the Solver community and for products to monetize this aspect of InnoCentive’s business.

Prior to his position at InnoCentive, John spent six years as a senior manager at eBay Inc., where he led a number of high profile initiatives across the company in customer service, community management, eCommerce, and user experience and design. During this time the company scaled revenues from $700M to $8B. He led the research, design, and implementation of eBay’s global customer communications strategy for more than 8,000 customer support reps, reaching 88 million active customers. John also spent 18 months providing consulting to early-stage start-up firms in the online customer experience space. He has written broadly about business and leadership topics following 10 years of living and working in Silicon Valley.
