Barry K. Shuster, MBA ’93

Barry has been appointed co-editor of the eighth edition of the National Restaurant Association’s Uniform System of Accounts for Restaurants, a guide to standardized restaurant accounting, financial controls, record-keeping, and tax matters. Since 2004, Barry is founding editor and an investment partner of Restaurant Startup & Growth, a 50,000-circulation, national, monthly business and management magazine for independent restaurateurs.

In addition to his publishing role, Barry is an attorney who teaches hospitality industry law on the faculties at North Carolina Central University School of Business and East Carolina University College of Human Ecology.
